Job Description

This position will support a major system conversion within our Home Lending Group, and will be based at our Crosswoods office.

Position Summary:

  • Leads assigned projects and/or provides advanced specialized consultative support to other team members for assigned business process and/or system(s) that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company.
  • Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s).
  • Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
  • Recommends business practices to optimize use of business process/system(s).
  • Develops operational procedures for products, services and systems.
  • Designs processes to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Develops and generates special and ad hoc reports.
  • Provides technical support to business unit, customers, management and other users.
  • Serves as liaison between software vendors and business process system users and other corporate areas.
  • Also must adhere to bank policies and procedures and comply with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Follows, or in some cases establishes, as required, effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going basis.
  • Must be aware of any risk-related changes that may impact assigned work functions and processes.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of experience, or High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience multi-tasking and handling simple as well as complex products and processes.
  • Organization and documentation skills with attention to detail and accuracy are critical.
  • High energy, self-motivated, and results driven.
  • Demonstrated experience proactively working with team members to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Knowledge of the mortgage industry would be beneficial, but not required.
  • Experience with HP Quality Center
