ABL Business Development Officer Regional Leader

Manages a team of Business Development Officers within the Asset Based Lending department of Huntington. Responsible for implementing the market strategy, identifying potential clients and in conjunction with credit and portfolio staff, closing of new business. Responsible for marketing and networking resulting in the origination of asset based lending new credit facility opportunities oversight and presentation of the underwriting document and management of the documentation process to closing. Viewed as the primary contact in the region and have frequent contact with the RCO and Manager/ABL.
Prospects and deal sources call activity and market networking in geographic markets assigned. Plans and organizes marketing initiatives, including sponsored networking event to promote HBAN.
Prepares and presents new business prescreens and proposals letters.
Manages and presents credit underwriting to committee for approval. Manages credit documentation and all conditions precedent for credit facility closings.
Creates and maintains internal networking and service partner relationships; develop consistent dialog with RM's and service partner product specialists.

Basic Qualifications:

10+ years of sales and lending experience in Asset Based Lending

Bachelors Degree
