Auto Floorplan Audit Reviewer in Columbus at Huntington

Job Description

The preferred location for this position is Columbus, OH, but it can be located at other locations within Huntington geographic footprint.

The HAF Floorplan Audit Examiner will:

  • Detect fraud or instances that may be leading indicators of potential fraud.
  • Review auto floorplan audits for repayment violations or other abnormal activity that may prompt further investigation (review of operating account activity, further verification of unit status, etc.)
  • Perform floorplan audit administrative functions such as organizing and conducting monthly audit review meetings, tracking of rental/service loaner activity and special projects.
  • Conduct Audit software maintenance and interact with internal and external customers when examining audit results.
  • Function as the primary liaison with the business unit and prompt business unit action when appropriate. Escalate audit results that show signs of heightened risk.
  • Cross-train other audit management functions with the Floorplan Audit Manager. Perform floorplan audits during non-peak audit review workflow periods.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree or the equivalent of 4 additional years of Auto Floorplan Audit/Audit review and/or performing collateral due diligence services for a financial institution.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Auto Floorplan Auditing/Audit review and/or performing collateral due diligence services for a financial institution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with review and analysis of auto floorplan audit results
  • Direct auto finance floorplan audit experience
  • Bachelor's in Finance, Business Admin or Accounting
  • Creative and critical thinking mindset
  • Independent decision making with proven track record of making good decisions balancing customer service and due diligence needs
  • Fraud analysis/detection experience
  • Solution/Action oriented, forward thinking vision, dedicated, strong work ethic
  • Detail oriented and highly organized
  • Passion for engaging with and providing professional service to internal customers
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to support internal customers in a collaborative manner, while demonstrating the ability to professionally push back when appropriate
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a deadline driven environment. Ability to calmly manage high pressure situations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
  • Familiarity with industry leading floorplan audit software
