Job Description

 This is a Veteran Preference Eligible (VPE) position meaning preference will be given to qualified candidates currently transitioning out of military service. In this newly created program the selected candidate will fulfill the role of a Business Analyst while participating in a two (2) year rotational program in Corporate Operations. The rotation will include training and projects in the following areas: 

  • Sourcing and Procurement
  • Commercial Operations
  • Segment Risk
  • Fraud and Security 

Responsibilities will include:

  • Participation in projects of a significant nature in the targeted segments
  • Provide specialized support to other team members for assigned business process and/or operations that are typically more complex and of a larger impact to the company.
  • Learn and maintain in-depth knowledge of processes and business segments while keeping abreast of current trends related to the assigned segment.
  • Analyze existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural improvements.
  • Develop operational procedures for products, services and systems.
  • Design processes to meet regulatory requirements and mitigating risk.
  • Develop and generate special and ad hoc reports.
  • Serve as liaison between vendors and business stakeholders within their own and outside corporate segments. 

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Five (5) years of experience in an operations, business analysis, process improvement, project management, analytics or related function. High school diploma may be considered in lieu of degree provided the candidate possesses an additional nine (9) years of experience in the aforementioned disciplines.

  • Veteran status is given preference in hiring for this position
  • Clear and accurate communications (both verbal and written), appropriate for intended audience(s), including the ability to effectively communicate complex issues
  • Ability to participate in and foster a teamwork environment
  • Ability to learn new technology/systems
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • A "self-starter" -- the ability to schedule own time to accomplish multiple project tasks and work on multiple projects at one time
  • Understanding or ability to learn complex business processes (including systems) involved in designated business process areas, including those performed within business segments and other support areas
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with the Microsoft Office Suite including Excel, Word and Power Point
  • Demonstrated excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong analytical skills required
