Job Description

Third Party Risk -- Business Analyst Senior

Maintains, monitors and updates vendor management system, working with vendor support to address issues, and provides system support for internal and external users as it relates to Huntington's Third Party Risk Management process.

  1. Maintains in-depth knowledge of business processes and applications and stays current with compliance guidance and regulatory requirements.
  2. Identifies and implements solutions to enhance performance and efficiencies of Corporate Sourcing's automated risk assessment system including regulatory compliance.
  3. Researches problems, develops and communicates potential solutions to decision-makers, then works to resolve the issues.
  4. Documents operational procedures for products, services and systems supported.
  5. Develops, generates and analyzes specialized and ad hoc reports.
  6. Analyzes existing processes and systems and identifies technical or procedural recommendations for improvements in business process/system(s).
  7. provides technical support to the organization surrounding Huntington's third party risk management system.
  8. Facilitates meetings with both internal and external parties, documenting related action items, and ensuring completion.
  9. Other tasks and responsibilities as may be directed by Sourcing management.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5 or more years of Business Analyst or Risk Management work experience.

Preferred Experience:

  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with the Hiperos third party risk management system and Ariba preferred.
  • Advanced knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Microsoft with Microsoft Share Point and Microsoft Access preferred.
  • Ability to extract meaningful information from raw data and develop relevant reporting that can be used for decision-making by management.
  • One or more years of banking/financial related experience preferred
