Business Banking Business Reporting Analyst in Columbus at Huntington

Job Description

  • Provides advanced support for assigned business reporting and/or system within the Business Banking segment which includes the following: - Maintains, monitors, updates assigned business reporting
  • Researches complex problems and acts independently to resolve
  • Analyzes existing business reporting to determines technical or procedural improvements and implements changes
  • Develops and provides documentation for users and training purposes
  • Develops and generates specialized and ad hoc reports. Analyzes reports and makes recommendations for improvements in processes and /or systems.
  • Will participate in various reporting projects
  • Ability to communicate with internal partners to understand reporting requirements.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degree or the equivalent of an additional 4 years of report creation and/or analysis
  • At least 5 years of banking/financial reporting experience

Preferred Qualification:

  • AFS Commercial loan accounting system experience
  • Velocity or other loan origination application system experience preferred.
  • Proficient in PowerPoint, Visual Basic, Onepoint, and Tableau
  • Dashboard creation experience
  • A "self-starter" with exceptional time management skills.
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment with attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to convey ideas verbally and/or in writing with a clear, concise and organized method and be appropriate for intended audience
