Job Description

The Business Risk Specialist -- Commercial Risk provides advanced support for assigned business process and/or system within the business unit the Risk Middle Office supports, which includes the following:

  • Processes Treasury Management (TM) product renewals such as ACH, RDC, Wires and other products that require periodic reviews.
  • Be responsible for customer renewals in assigned region(s).
  • Ensures review and updates to customer ESS profiles to allow accurate risk scoring
  • Review customer activity, make recommendations on customer limits and products to support the best product solutions for the customer.
  • Partner with TM Sales, RMs, PM/Underwriting and TM Service to address customer issues.
  • Maintain renewal procedures, process maps and control and tracking
  • Updates customer systems such as ESS, MAX, TMIS
  • May coach or mentor less experienced business analyst.
  • Maintains RMO scorecard and metric. Will participate in Team Performance Board.
  • Communicate trends, recommendations and observations to business units to assist with improved risk management.

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three years minimum experience or
  • High School diploma with a minimum five years of experience in lieu of a degree

Preferred Experience:

  • Prior experience as a Business Analyst
  • Project Management or Management experience
  • Experience in technology, operations, treasury, risk management, and/or banking - finance highly preferred
