Capital Planning Analyst Senior

Huntington is seeking a Senior Capital Planning Analyst to work as a member of the Capital Planning Team. The qualified individual will support Management with oversight and governance of Huntington's Capital Planning program and execution of Huntington's multi-year efforts to implement the FDIC's Part 370 Recordkeeping Rule.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the continued implementation of Huntington's Capital Planning program enhancements
  • Assisting in the development of a sustainable framework for FDIC Part 370 compliance, which includes creating end-to-end source documentation, identifying process controls, and mapping of all critical path activities
  • Developing an understanding of data requirements and data quality for the Capital Planning and FDIC's Part 370 Recordkeeping programs and related reporting requirements
  • Driving participation and engagement across program teams to resolve issues and fulfill goals
  • Maintaining working knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry best practices
  • Identifying areas for improvement and remaining flexible to perform other assignments as requested

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 3 + years of experience in accounting, finance, or risk management roles

 Preferred Qualifications:

  •  Ability to multi-task effectively, be a self-starter, deliver to deadlines, handle stress with composure and professionalism, and move work forward with limited direction
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills and an understanding of the concept of materiality (i.e., knows when information is relevant)
  • Ability to collaborate and foster teamwork in a matrix environment
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly and concisely, and demonstrate confidence and competence in group meeting situations
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office software; Visio experience preferred
