Commercial Card Solution Consultant - Treasury in Chicago at Huntington

Job Description

Incumbent is responsible for providing technical sales support for the Treasury Management Commercial Card products including Travel and Entertainment cards, Purchasing Cards, Fleet Cards, Virtual Cards and Integrated Payables. Duties include prospect identification, new sales support, product demonstrations, client spend plan creation/monitoring, customer spend optimization, pricing support, and sales/spend volume forecasting.

• Provides subject matter expertise in support of Commercial and Business Banking sales efforts for Commercial Card products.
• Manages multiple tasks associated with Commercial Card implementation and client support.
• Identifies and manages risk and escalates concerns as appropriate.
• Maintains knowledge of card product and industry developments.
• Maintains expertise in Commercial Card product delivery processes and enabling technologies.
• Develops and maintains expertise in Accounts Payable processes and enabling technologies.
• Conducts product demonstrations for prospects and customers.
• Works with key business partners (e.g. Treasury Management sales, Relationship Managers, Business Bankers) to profitably grow the Commercial Card product.
• Delivers marketing materials and programs to support sales efforts.
• Evaluates client needs and recommends changes in product features/functions.
• Adheres to bank policies and procedures and complies with legal and regulatory requirements.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business or related discipline.
• 3+ years of Commercial/Purchase Card experience.

Additional Experience Preferred

• Prior Treasury Management payables experience preferred.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willingness to travel (average of 30%-40%).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with online systems; working knowledge of accounting/expense management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
