Job Description

Provide specialized support for Business Unit, Management and others as needed including, but not limited to, system support for Commercial Real Estate Technical Services (CRETS) and Residential Real Estate Technical Services (RRETS).

CRETS responsibilities include:

  • Support for the Commercial Real Estate Tracking System (RETS) and existing production databases
  • Integral involvement in the project to replace the RETS system with a HAWC solution, including appraisal, evaluation, environmental and construction risk workflow functionality
  • Report development and maintenance
  • Continuous / process improvement
  • Project management

RRETS responsibilities include:

  • Support for User Developed Tools (UDTs) build on a various platforms, including Visual Basic, Microsoft Access, and Microsoft Excess
  • Provide analytical support for RRETS metrics, scorecards and incentive plan templates
  • Report development and maintenance
  • Continuous / process improvement
  • Project management

Responsibilities will also include:

  • Developing and creating specialized and ad hoc reporting
  • Supporting annual, quarterly, monthly and weekly reports for designated business areas
  • Maintaining existing databases and user-developed tools
  • Testing and implementing business process and/or system modifications
  • Researching and addressing issues
  • Acting as a liaison with IT, business partners, and third party vendors/contractors for special projects/initiatives
  • Aiding in process flow improvement ideas and implementation
  • Assisting with creation and delivery of user training for new and existing applications, products and procedures
  • Adhering to bank policies and procedures
  • Complying with legal and regulatory requirements
  • Following and/or establishing effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 5+ years' experience as a Business Analyst
  • Extensive knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Access, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Power Point
  • Strong Visual Basic knowledge base and experience
  • Clear and accurate communications (both verbal and written), appropriate for intended audience(s), including the ability to effectively communicate complex issues
  • Ability to participate in and foster a teamwork environment
  • Ability to learn new technology/systems

Preferred qualifications:

  • High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered.
  • Strong analytical problem solving skills
  • Demonstrated project management skills
  • A "self-starter" -- the ability to schedule own time to accomplish multiple project tasks and work on multiple projects at one time
  • Efficient use of own time and others' time
  • Experience working within a Continuous Improvement framework preferred
  • Understanding or ability to learn complex business processes (including systems) involved in designated business process areas, including those performed within business segments and other support areas
