Commercial Relationship Manager - Auto Finance

This commercial position will support markets in Akron, Canton, Cleveland, and Youngstown. Location could be anywhere within the footprint of the markets serviced. Travel will be 3-4 days/week within different markets based on business need.

• Adhering to credit policy, structures and underwrites dealer sales commercial loans or makes a recommendation to the appropriate level of credit administration.
• Effectively services portfolio and cultivates prospective customers.
• Manages portfolio risk on an ongoing basis by monitoring customer credit-worthiness, adherence to loan terms and general business conditions.
• Effectively cross-sells, assisting Sales Executive and Product Specialist by identifying new opportunities and demonstrating value in promoting bank products.
• Negotiates and communicates large credit exposures and most complex loans with both the customer and credit department.
• Promotes Huntington's value proposition of local sales and service.
• May organize work flow or coach other employees.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum of 3 years of Dealer Sales/Auto Finance commercial lending experience required.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Commercial credit analysis and underwriting experience helpful.
• Knowledge of assigned dealership territory and management staff preferred.
• Must demonstrate a professional, personable, and friendly communication style with a focus on customer service and an ability to interact and negotiate with all levels of management, owners and other centers of influence.
• Excellent written communication skills are also required, including proper use of grammar, punctuation, and business format.
• Must enjoy working independently and effectively in a deadline-driven, multi-task environment, with organization and attention to detail being imperative.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint is required and specialized platform software (Salesforce, Lotus Notes, Data Scan etc) preferred.
