Job Description

Our Community Development Project Manager is responsible for corporate management of community development administration including compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act. Supervises colleagues responsible for critical corporate functions including risk management, regulatory compliance and exam preparation.

• Develops and produces management and board level reports summarizing the bank's performance and related risks.
• Directs the team in the identification of and follow up on opportunities for process improvement, cost savings and mutual charter agreements with management from various departments supported including, but not limited to, community development sales, regional management, commercial, mortgage, and consumer lending, retail deposit and marketing.
• Establishes training to support related areas.
• Leads or as part of a team manages merger related due diligence and conversion activities related to job responsibilities.
• Is involved in the community in roles reflective of the position.
• Develops and administers separate risk management systems to monitor the bank's performance associated with the Community Reinvestment Act.
• Locates external or with other departments develops data sources to facilitate effective performance evaluation.
• Locates and develops data analysis tools to evaluate and analyze the banks performance.
• Provides reports and data to support responses to complaints, protests and data requests.
• Develops and maintains performance monitoring reports/systems.
Project support responsibilities will include:

• Project initiation, planning, and execution task.
• Consistently assessing and communicating project status from a timeliness and quality perspective.
• Tracking and reporting project metrics.
• Ensuring appropriate escalation and communication of issues and delays.
• Providing recommendations and assistance in the creation of processes / procedures to streamline tasks and provide supporting analysis.
• Providing data and creates presentations for diverse audiences.
• Participating in and presenting at related meetings.
• Driving engagement and participation across multiple teams, working groups, and committees to fulfill responsibilities and resolve issues.
Basic Qualifications:

• 5 or more years experience which may be a combination of community development, data analysis, business development experience or project management experience in a bank environment.
• High School Diploma.
Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledgeable in compliance with the Community Reinvestment Act and Home Mortgage Disclosure Act.
• Proficient in Word, Excel, Access and CRAWiz.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Position requires travel and overnight stays.
• Able to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a matrix management environment.
