Position: Community Development Compliance Data Integrity Analyst
Location: Columbus -- 7 Easton Oval

Responsibilities include:

  • On a daily basis, performs detailed data integrity reviews.
  • Uses multiple internal and external systems to extract data from mortgage, consumer, small business and commercial loans and applications.
  • Assists in annual Loan/Application Register Reporting to the Federal government for HMDA, CRA, and Fair Lending Exams.
  • Develops and maintains Excel and Access databases for tracking error and edit checks.
  • Communicates to management any discrepancies and issues in the data and utilizes systems to take corrective measures.
  • Applies knowledge from attending seminars and workshops in accordance with any changes to Federal Regulations (HMDA/CRA/Fair Lending), company policies, and new and current computer systems and software.
  • Assists with implementation of corporate compliance programs.
  • Ensures work is in compliance with applicable laws, regulations and guidelines as detailed in policies located on Company intranet and in Federal Regulation guides.
  • Provides appropriate training to internal staff for reduction of data errors.
  • Writes and implements policy and procedures for job function.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by management.


Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma.
  • 3 or more years of compliance experience in a mortgage, consumer, business banking or regulatory environment.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • Experience with and understanding of the following Federal Regulations: HMDA (Reg C), CRA, Equal Credit Opportunity Act (Reg B), and Truth in Lending (Reg Z).
  • Experience in mortgage, consumer, or small business underwriting.
  • Experience using one or more of the following software systems -- Passport (AFS), ACAPS Direct, Orbit, Unifi, Net Oxygen, FileNet Doc View, Enterprise Document Retrieval (EDR), Velocity, and/or CLOS Ability.
  • Experienced in the suite of Microsoft products including Word, Excel, and Access.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written skills and interact positively with all levels of personnel including internal and external customers.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize workflow, and have good organizational skills.
