Description:

  • Reports directly to the Preparedness Manager
  • Maintains comprehensive Crisis Management program based on the National Incident Management System (NIMS)
  • Collaborates with site leaders to establish localized crisis response teams
  • Works in a rotating on-call schedule to respond to actual or possible incidents to assess situation and assign cognizant authority based on crisis details
  • Updates building emergency response and crisis management and communications plans
  • Works with the corporate security training team and CCM team members to build, rollout and facilitate training programs, emergency drills, and exercises following the U.S. Homeland Security Exercise & Evaluation Program (HSEEP)
  • Support the maintenance of departmental and reference data using standard MS Office programs (Excel, etc.)
  • Use internal and external resources to advance departmental programs through research, collection, and evaluation of statistics, programs, policies, plans, and similar.
  • Use internal and external resources to advance departmental programs through research, collection, and evaluation of information related to broad topics in safety, crisis management, natural disasters, computer systems, weather and related fields.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 1+ years' experience building and running detailed training/exercise scenarios
  • 1+ years of Crisis Management and/or Business Continuity experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Broad financial business knowledge to support impact assessment
  • Excellent oral and written communication
  • Incident Command System (ICS) Courses including IS- 100, 200, 300 and 400
