Job Description

Customer Advocacy Data and Technology Manager

The Customer Advocacy Data and Technology Manager position requires a highly skilled technology professional prepared to provide advanced specialized consultative support to other team members in the areas of data management and mining, data transformation and application development. In addition, this person will:

  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of application design and development and stays current in technical enhancements, methodologies and trends related to the assigned application(s)
  • Analyze existing processes and systems and identify technical improvements
  • Design processes and develop solutions to meet regulatory requirements
  • Develop and generate special and ad hoc reports
  • Provides technical support to Customer Advocacy and other users across the organization. Serve as liaison between software vendors, system users and other corporate areas

 Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

 Application Development / Data Management

  1. Support the Customer Advocacy team and all its colleagues through the use of various software usage such as Excel, SQL, Crystal Reports, and custom developed web applications written in asp.net/vb.net
  2. Primary developer of all ETL programs responsible for importing data from various external (external to Customer Advocacy) sources
  3. Support Customer Advocacy and the Enterprise in the form of data mining of customer complaints, customer survey responses, and other customer experience related data
  4. Serve as the primary support of the Customer Advocacy data mart which includes monitoring of all automated/scheduled jobs, tuning, user access, creation of data tables and views
  5. Document and execute process rules and data standards to integrate customer satisfaction results across research studies
  6. Develop and maintain documentation supporting the flow of data into and out of Huntington's Customer Experience (CX) platform as well as other systems used within Customer Advocacy
  7. Work with others to enhance automation of standard reports and data views

 Provide technical support and guidance of survey management tool

  1. Work with the vendor and internal technology teams in supporting the use and enhancement of the CX platform
  2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to the platform and/or flow of data in and out of the system
  3. Answer technical or operational questions regarding the CX platform and others
  4. Develop dashboards and reports within the CX platform as needed
  5. Perform system administration functions within the CX platform
  6. Develop and manage roadmap of future enhancements to CX platform

 Basic Qualifications:

  •  Bachelor's degree
  • A minimum of 7 years developing web applications
  • A minimum of 7 years of experience with SQL and relational database management systems
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience writing ETL programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office-Excel, Visio, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Excellent troubleshooting, organizational, and analytical skills
  • Willingness and aptitude for new technical concepts and skills
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Focus on customer service
  •  Web development using asp.net / vb.net
  • Advanced knowledge of SQL Server and SSIS
  • Advanced formula and VBA Excel skills
  • Data mining and reporting techniques using various platforms such as Crystal Reports, MicroStrategy, Tableau
  • Developing dashboards and reports for Senior Management
