Debit & ATM Card Business Analyst in Columbus at Huntington

Job Description

The Business Analyst will be a key member of the Debit & ATM Card Product team responsible for managing all aspects of the card portfolio including new product development, existing product improvement, product strategy, relationship management with cross-functional teams and profit optimization. Analyst will use a variety of tools including Excel, SQL, SAS and business intelligence tools to support business reporting and ad hoc analytics.

* Maintain, monitor and update suite of debit card reports used by senior leaders to manage business and adjust strategy
* Ensure management reporting needs are fulfilled by developing new reports and/or enhancing existing ones
* Monitor day-to-day KPIs and identify trends and patterns and elevate issues to management as appropriate
* Conduct ad hoc business analytics to help drive strategy
* Conduct competitive analysis and communicate learnings to senior management
* Maintain SharePoint site for business procedures, key documents and training tools
* Work with internal business partners to identify appropriate data sources needed to build new reporting
* Work closely with Vendor Management team to provide support for applications utilized by different departments to support the Debit & ATM Card product
* Maintain and revise HNB Debit & ATM Card policies/procedures as needed
* Assist with daily administrative activities and managing the day-to-day operations of the Huntington Debit Card and ATM card business
* Develop job aids for tasks critical to the day-to-day operation of the product
* Develop advanced card product knowledge in order to support project and product development and maintenance
* Ad-hoc reporting/data analysis requests

Basic Qualifications

* High School diploma
* At least 1 year of related experience

Preferred Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Advanced Excel skills and experience working with business intelligence tools
* Strong reporting skills utilizing Microsoft Excel and pivot tables
* SQL & SAS experience required, or willingness to learn within first two months of starting job
* Data driven with ability to derive insights from analytics and provide robust analysis to support recommendations
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Self-motivated, self-starter who can work independently when necessary
