Debit & ATM Card Product Manager in Columbus at Huntington

Job Description

The Product Manager will be a key member of the Debit & ATM Card Product team which is responsible for managing all aspects of the card portfolio including new product development, existing product  improvement, product strategy, relationship management with cross-functional teams and profit optimization 
* Review and propose modifications to existing Debit & ATM Card Product features and benefits to maximize profitability and meet customer needs
* Take lead to research and resolve production issues
* Partner with Marketing to ensure effective communication of products to customers and to improve portfolio metrics
* Develop operational procedures for products, services and systems supported
* Work closely with the cross functional teams to support ideation, design, development, launch and support of new products
* Evaluate product performance and recommend changes to the product or marketing strategy to optimize program performance
* Help establish and monitor progress against portfolio goals and objectives
* Collaborate with Card Sales team to develop training materials and sales aids
* Assist management with developing effective controls and processes to ensure risks are measured, monitored and controlled and compliance requirements are adhered to on an on-going
* Develop job aids for tasks critical to the day-to-day operation of the product
* Develop advanced card product knowledge in order to support project and product development
* Accountable for risk management, compliance and audit performance for area(s) of responsibility
Basic Qualifications
* High School diploma
* 3 or more years of related experience
Preferred Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree preferred
* Experience in bank product management
* Knowledge of card products
* Experience with First Data Platform
* Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
* Demonstrated ability to critically analyze situations and risks, determine paths of action, and make recommendations to remediate issues
* Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and reprioritize accordingly when unexpected/urgent situations arise
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
