Desktop and Systems Specialist (End User Computing Operations). This position can be filled in Akron or Columbus, Ohio

Brief Description:
This position is a member of the End User Computing Operations teams that is responsible for the operational support and management of Huntington's End User Computing desktop infrastructure. Responsibilities includes, but is not limited to, identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems, responding to Colleague calls, email and personnel requests for technical support, documenting, tracking and monitoring problems to ensure a timely resolution. This position is also provides support for various business applications, desktop configurations, and planned operating system and application patching and upgrades events.

Detailed Description:
* Provide Tier 3 Desktop & End User Computing Infrastructure operational support for Front Office (Branch) and Back Office (Corporate) systems.
* Perform analysis, diagnose complex desktop related problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions while maintaining infrastructure stability.
* Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related network, hardware and software in order to deliver required desktop service levels.
* Utilize standard enterprise systems management infrastructure and enterprise tools to support infrastructure hardware, software or other technical components.
* Collaborate with multiple project and infrastructure teams to deliver strategic initiatives.
* Must be available for after-hours support and maintenance as required in response to production service outages and scheduled configuration change procedures.

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree
* Min 1 year of progressive experience in various desktop hardware, software applications, software deployment, operating systems, and network infrastructure technologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
* Proven customer support and service experience.
* Min 1 year of experience utilizing Active Directory, including experience with AD User & Group Management, Group Policy and AD Infrastructure support and reporting.
* Min 1 year of experience configuring, supporting, and managing Enterprise and Remote File Servers. Experience utilizing System Center Configuration Manager & System Center Orchestrator
* Experience with VMWare vSphere & VMWare Horizon View operational support
* Experience with Windows Print Server management.
* Experience with Papercut Print Management Application
* Experience with PowerShell and other industry scripting languages
* Experience with ServiceNow or other ticketing based incident management and workflow based systems.
* Experience with Enterprise Change Management process.
* Experience with Apple Macintosh desktop support and systems management
* Data Analysis / Reporting Skills with Excel/PowerPoint
