Detailed Description:

• Execute application software build & deployments supporting applications across the enterprise for both distributed and mainframe applications through ChangeMan
• Develop & maintain scripts to automate existing manual build & deployment procedures
• Develop & maintain automation procedures to assist with infrastructure automation
• Source Code Management : TFS & SVN Administration - Create & Maintain Branches, Handle Periodic Code Merges, Source Code Repositories User Management
• Implement triggers on source code repositories to assist with continuous integration process
• Work with Application Development & Operation teams to understand project specific needs within DevOps core function areas and implement the same
• Evaluate existing processes & tools and implement changes for better efficiency
• Analyze requirements and provide technical solutions for all automation needs
• Co-ordinate the promotion of code to test, qa, stage & production environments in support of all roadmap & emergency releases
• Provide configuration management support for all applications and projects
• Show an understanding of the industry standards and practices and the knowledge of technical industry trends as they apply to Huntington
• Work in a fast paced Agile type environment and should be good at multitasking
• Support the existing source code for internal applications developed by DevOps team
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards from TFS and Automation tools

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Min 5 years of IT experience in core devops functional areas like source code management, build & deploy, programming, automation and scripting functions.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CI tools like Jenkins or Bamboo
• Experience with Deployment Automation tools like IBM UrbanCode, IBM Buildforge, Puppet etc or other similar tools
• Extensive experience with more than one of these scripting languages is required - PowerShell, Ant, Shell, Ruby, Jython & Python scripting for automation
• Experience in Ant, MSBuild & Maven based builds
• Deployment experience for Java, J2EE, Microsoft and Mobile applications
• Deployment experience with Mainframe applications using ChangeMan is a plus
• Strong understanding of middleware Service Oriented Architecture and deployment of applications to WESB, Datapower is a plus
• Scripting skills invoking WebSphere wsadmin commands to deploy J2EE applications to WAS is desirable
• Programming and scripting knowledge is required
• Experience with deployments on Windows, Linux & AIX environments
• Strong understanding of different SDLC methodologies including Waterfall, Agile etc.
• Strong source code administration experience with Microsoft TFS & Subversion preferred
• Background and familiarity with banking applications is preferred
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Attention to detail
• Strong team player
• Good communication and co-ordination skills
