Job Description

Huntington is looking for a designer with a fresh, new perspective. Yes, you'll be working for a bank, but you'll be working for the most creative, innovative, and rebellious team within that bank. The team that's not afraid to break things and reassemble them, in the name of good communication, good storytelling. And we're looking for a designer to help us out.

You're the type of designer who knows how to concept, create, and design visuals that make people stop scrolling. You know how to bounce between mediums, whether they be print, digital, environmental, or motion. You'll help us create 2D and 3D graphic-animated videos for online and environmental spaces (think branches and stadiums); rich media banners and GIFs for our advertising campaigns; and assist our videographer with post-production polish and shine. And occasionally, we'll look for your help with print.

 Expect to be briefed on each project by our strategists and brand managers. But also expect to bring your own critical thinking -- we want to hear how you'd solve for the business problem, too. And most importantly, you can expect to create great work with a dynamite team -- work you'll hold up as some of the greatest of your career. This role reports to the Brand Manager, on the Brand & Innovation team, which helps drive the Marketing vision at a company that truly values great creative.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • Minimum of 3 years of design experience in a corporate or agency environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • A good handle on the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop/Illustrator/After Effects/Premier/Animate).
  • Motion graphics and animation skills. Experience with Cinema 4D would be great.
  • A demo reel demonstrating application of motion graphics and post production techniques.
  • Illustration, photo retouching.
  • Solid written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience with complex, multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Experience managing agencies and production vendors, and getting great work out of them.
  • An exceptional customer barometer. The ability to put yourself in the customer's shoes.
  • Strong relationship building skills. The ability to collaborate effectively across broad stakeholder groups.
