Job Description

The colleague will work under general supervision of Electronic Fraud Prevention management and demonstrate the ability to be a working Team Leader. The colleague should demonstrate independent judgment in reviewing and dispositioning suspect credit and debit card cases. Position also entails fraud review for all channels of potential fraud. The colleague will be responsible for administering thorough investigative assessments to properly discern between fraudulent and valid activity, as well as react accordingly and in a timely manner in order to mitigate potential fraud loses. Schedule is Tuesday-Saturday 2pm-10pm.

Communication skills play a critical role in this position as the Enterprise Fraud Specialist III reaches out to customers (internal and external) to verify suspect activity via phone, and possess a strong knowledge of bank operations. The colleague will need to demonstrate the ability to coach team members on areas of opportunities and report results back to management.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• At least 3 years of Fraud experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• Previous supervisory experience
• Applicable risk, fraud and/or security investigations experience.
• Experience Training colleagues multiple department functions.
• Ability to handle escalated issues offering solutions that reduces department risk and still offer excellent customer experience.
• Ability to meet production and quality department standards.
• Experience in dealing directly with customers over the phone.
• Proficiency in MS Office suite.
• Knowledge of deposit systems and customer information systems.
• Experience in bank operations
• Experience with deposit fraud and/or deposit risk review
• Self-sufficient -- candidate requires minimal supervision.
• Coordinating work flow schedules.
