Enterprise Risk Manager - Risk Reporting in Columbus at Huntington

Job Description

The Enterprise Risk Manager is responsible for identifying, measuring, monitoring, and / or controlling aggregate enterprise risk in the context of Huntington's Risk Governance and Risk Appetite Framework. Works cross-functionally with business segments, segment risk, and independent risk management to fulfill responsibilities. The primary responsibilities associated with this role will include

  • Annual review and update of risk appetite across the enterprise (all segments and pillars)
  • Quarterly reporting and validation of risk appetite across the enterprise
  • Management of Risk Assessment Process (RCSA, PRA, ERA) including maintenance of templates, guidance, timelines
  • Preparation of risk assessment material for regulatory and board communication
  • Enhancement, review and quarterly execution of risk assessment reporting
  • Monitoring of breach escalation reporting
  • Additional reporting as identified
  • Assist ERM team with other responsibilities as needed

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5 or more years of banking experience that includes at least 1 year of data analysis and reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Risk Experience preferred
  • Ability to maintain high data quality and generate reporting from ERMS and/or other data repositories
  • Ability to utilize excel and other tools to complete queries, data analysis, and risk reporting
  • Ability to review processes and identify risks and controls
  • Project-oriented with the ability and desire to analyze processes and data, identify and bring forward challenges and potential solutions, create and maintain reports, and communicate findings
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a comfort presenting information in front of groups
  • Comfortable actively participating and voicing perspective in team environment
  • Detail-oriented with an established personal system for managing time, deadlines, and documentation
  • Accustomed to fast-paced, rapidly evolving situations with the ability to quickly re-sort priorities based on changing circumstances
  • Able to quickly adapt to new technologies
  • Take a team building approach with business partners
  • High proficiency at using MS Office tools
