Job Description

We are seeking an Equipment Finance Sales Coordinator for our Documentation Team within Huntington Equipment Finance. The Huntington Equipment Finance serves a wide range of corporate clients with all forms of financing for capital equipment acquisitions with specialized equipment type expertise in business aircraft and rail industry assets. This group works with complicated vertical product groups, like Rail, Aircraft, Large Corporate, Syndications and Middle Market.

The Equipment Finance Sales Coordinator will be expected to:

• Analyze and understand transactions including pricing, deal structure, collateral evaluation, credit and tax components.
• Handle all aspects of a transaction from initiation to booking and funding including ordering and reviewing lien searches, drafting and negotiating disclaimer/no interest letters or subordination agreements, obtaining landlord waivers/collateral access agreements where necessary, processing equipment titling, lien perfection requirements, insurance certificates, organizational documents and required signatures, document preparation, review, negotiation and closing.
• Provide guidance and monitors team's productivity on an ongoing basis.
• Audit samples of transactions closed by team members to ensure a consistent level of quality in relationship to volume is being maintained. Utilizes audit results and makes recommendations for action items to management.
• Actively participate in and contributes to the development and implementation of procedures and process improvement by identifying gaps that effect quality and/or productivity.
• Organize work flow for designated group and/or projects: reviews the work of others, sets team goals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• Minimum of 5 years of experience.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience

• 5 years' experience in the financing or legal industry that includes both loan and lease origination and documentation processes.
• Working knowledge of leasing and loan products and structures.
• Demonstrated leadership experience by having provided coaching, skill development, and feedback to team members.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or Economics.
• Understands and exhibits critical thinking with deals and takes the initiative to ensure matters are being addressed timely.
• Leasing experience and familiarity with other standard Equipment Finance products and terminology such as TRAC Leases, Split-TRAC Leases, First Amendment Leases, FMV Leases, Lease Discounting, etc., a plus
• Familiarity with various Equipment Finance product verticals. For example; Rail, Business Aircraft, Large Corporate, Syndication and Middle Market
• Working knowledge of term loan documentation, lease documentation, guaranties, riders, promissory notes and other standard transaction documents.
• Experience with true lease concepts versus leases intended for security and related documentation
• Experience with syndicated transactions, loan and lease master assignment agreements, specifications, notice and acknowledgments of assignment and other standard syndication documentation
• Working knowledge of UCC Article 2A, 9 and collateral perfection requirements.
• Proficient in all Microsoft products and industry software
• Previous experience working in a team oriented processing environment
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, written, and verbal skills
• Detail oriented, self-motivated and self-starter with a sense of urgency
