Job Description

This is a high profile position for a pro-active, confident, mature individual that has the ability to maintain confidential and sensitive information and enjoys working in a vigorous corporate environment. Using independent judgment and discretion, the ideal candidate will deliver exceptional executive administrative support and will anticipate the on-going needs of the executive and leadership team in order to leverage the executive's group's time and ability to impact the business. The selected individual will collaborate and interact with high-level contacts and reflect a positive and professional image of Huntington in all internal and external communications. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Answers phones, makes copies, and maintains and establishes files
  • Gathers data, coordinates internal audit, and regulatory requests, prepares reports, and assists with special projects
  • Schedules and coordinates meetings, follows up on meeting initiatives and take-aways
  • Processes special payment authorizations and expense reimbursements.
  • Management/maintenance of SharePoint sites and email lists
  • Coordinates external events and related activities
  • Coordinates travel itineraries and on-site meetings as required
  • Manage tasks, responsibilities, and maintains routine updates associated with projects and initiatives impacting Retail Operations and the Retail team
  • Conduct research and analysis of various topics to assist management in effective decision-making

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma required
  • A minimum of 5 years of administrative assistant experience is required
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (Word, Access, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint) required

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must have the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, act with a sense of urgency and be able to prioritize multiple assignments and duties
  • Must be organized and possess a high degree of professionalism and attention to detail
  • Must have strong communication and interpersonal skills and have the ability to engage effectively with a broad array of business leaders, customers, community leaders and stakeholders
  • Must maintain a high degree of confidentiality, maturity, judgment and possess a positive and warm demeanor
  • Flexibility with schedule is necessary and overtime may be required
