Job Description

Corporate Finance is seeking a Finance Business Case Review Manager to support the Profitability & Reporting team with the internal business case function. The qualified individual will provide analytical and reporting support to finance and various segments pertaining to internal business cases. The range of responsibilities will include:

  • Manage internal business case process; including: reporting, running senior level meetings, maintaining minutes / approvals, ad-hoc analysis, look back analysis
  • Enhance existing process as needed for changes to profitability, capital, cost allocation.
  • Collaborate with management reporting team for flow of business cases to forecast when appropriate.
  • Provide segment CFOs and administrative groups with business case, profitability, capital & allocated expense information.
  • Work with Finance Information Team (FIT) & Enterprise Information Management (EIM) as needed.
  • Educate organization on fundamentals of profitability, capital & cost allocations.
  • Ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 7 or more years of financial analysis or data analysis experience that includes a minimum of 5 years of business case modeling; forecasting, profitability analysis, finance leadership, and use of SQL (or similar query language), Excel, and PowerPoint. (Please list on resume).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preference - Finance, Accounting, and/or Business.
  • Master's Degree / MBA preferred - preference - Finance, Accounting, and/or Business (MBA).
  • Management experience with direct reports
  • Financial analysis preference - Knowledge of bank financials.
  • Background in bank profitability, activity based costing, return on equity analysis
  • Hyperion Essbase/Smart View experience strongly preferred.
  • Able to multi-task effectively, be a self-starter, and be able to handle stress with composure and professionalism.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively.
  • Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.
  • Additional hours and some weekend time may be required.
