Job Description

Corporate Finance is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support the Information Technology segment. The qualified individual will provide analytical and reporting support to Finance for the various sub-segments that make up Information Technology. The range of responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the financials thru forecasts and annual budget cycles by leveraging Essbase and Huntington financial tools, writing narratives and preparing/presenting financial results
  • Lead CIO operation reviews and complete long range financial planning
  • Provide insight and analysis for labor as it pertains to capacity and releases with financial impacts. Provide financial oversight to the on-boarding and off-boarding of contractors and employees
  • Drive financial discipline through Huntington's business case process, ensuring thoroughness and accuracy for capital and NIE spend, efficiency saves and IT labor allocation.
  • Develop and maintain specific scorecard and metrics regarding financial performance
  • Develop and maintain a working partnership with the Segment business and finance individuals to drive for results

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 7 or more years of financial analyst experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preference - Finance, Accounting, and/or Business. Finance experience with supporting technology and financial services. MBA a plus.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP treatment for IT labor, hardware & software purchasing and technology maintenance contracts.
  • Experience with Total Cost of Ownership and activity based costing.
  • Experience with Office applications, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Hyperion Essbase/Smart View experience strongly preferred.
  • Candidate must have ability to question status quo, be naturally inquisitive, comfortable with challenging others opinions in a constructive manner and be an active listener.
  • Collaborative personality -- able to manage different points of view and able to build positive relationships inside and outside of the team.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills as this position can interface with many levels of management.
  • Strong organizational skills given the large amount of information to be reviewed, maintained, and assimilated into the forecast and budget process.
  • Flexibility to adapt to tough timelines and ability to manage multiple complex issues/projects.
