Job Description

Our Data Analyst position will be responsible for supporting the Balance Sheet Management (BSM) function, performing the monthly ETL of data from various sources to Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) software; proactively identifying issues and enhancements to improve accuracy and completeness of data; and implementing changes to existing process, coordinating with IT as required. This individual will work closely with Treasury, Balance Sheet Management, and IT. You will:

• Extract, Transform, and Load monthly Balance Sheet Management data for downstream processes.
• Implement process to ensure completeness and accuracy of monthly data
• Serve as QRM software subject matter expert; addressing data and infrastructure issues with internal support and/or vendor as required.
• Work in direct partnership with Segment Finance, Balance Sheet Management, and IT to ensure accuracy and timely completion of all deliverables, including on-going activities and special projects/analysis.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in finance or accounting or a Bachelor's degree in other areas with 1 or more years of treasury and/or finance work experience.
• 5 or more years of experience using relational database platforms (MS SQL, Oracle, or DB2) and experience using an ETL tool (SSIS, SAS, DataStage, and/or Informatics).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced Degree with Finance and/or Technical focus
• Experience with Quantitative Risk Management (QRM) software
• Ability to understand and translate business issues into technical terms, serve as liaison between Balance Sheet Management and IT
