Job Description

The Financial Planning and Practiced Management Consultant will be responsible for the following:

  • Provides financial planning and practice management consulting and training to financial advisors, key business partners and regional sales managers.
  • Identifies training needs and delivers content across markets.
  • Acts a financial planning expert to assist advisors in development of a plan for individual clients and families.
  • Offers hands on training on planning and investment software utilization.
  • Delivers planning oriented content to clients through seminars and workshops.
  • Works directly with advisors to instill practices which improve advisor proficiency in planning and effectiveness in managing a client book of business.
  • Integrates product offering into planning process including advisory, brokerage and insurance.
  • Contributes to client oriented content to highlight planning and investment topics.
  • Gathers industry information on best practices around planning and practice management.
  • Oversees financial planning quality within regional assignment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 7-10 years of experience in Investment Financial Planning
  • Certified Financial Planner designation
  • Series 7, 66 license

Other Traits and Characteristics:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Series 24 preferred
  • Ability to interact effectively with all levels across the organization
  • Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team oriented environment
