Foreign Exchange (FX) Operations Process Specialist

Support FX Operations processes related to foreign currency payments for National Settlements distribution to claimants.

The duties include:

• Serving as FX Ops point of contact for National Settlements personnel and with claims administrators
• Coordinating relationship(s) with correspondent bank service providers to communicate/plan distributions in accordance with the needs of the Claims Administrators and business segment
• Working with FX Ops Business Analyst to design changes to bulk file upload specific to individual distributions
• Working with FX Ops Process Manager to upload and verify payment files to the correspondent bank for distribution
• Distribute reconcilement report from the correspondent bank to the claims administrators as required
• Support reconcilement process and reporting for stop payments and draft reissuance for all distributions
• Support monthly reporting for Global Accounts, Customer Mark to Market reporting as well as customer updates within the FX system and other duties assigned.

Additional Duties:

• Assist with the reconcilement/investigation process for all asset classes in Capital Market Operations
• Support SWIFT/MTS upgrades for FX Operations

Basic Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• 1+ years of experience supporting financial operations

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor degree from an accredited university
• Experience, preferably working with payments, reconciliation, and investigations
• Above average knowledge of MS Office application
• Familiarity with WallStreet System, MTS, and CitiDirect applications
• Familiarity with funds movement control processes
• Familiarity with AML/BSA and OFAC scanning processes for payments
