HIC Business Administration Analyst

The Huntington Investment Company Business Administration team is responsible for various "behind-the-scenes" operational functions for the firm, including, but not limited to system access management for the firm, partnering with the firm's clearing firm on initiatives and platform changes, and ensuring that the firm's Business Continuity Plan is properly maintained.

The business analyst will be responsible for:

  • Monitoring multiple entry points for requests related to system access management, transaction corrections and adjustments, and additional daily tasks;
  • Processing system access requests for new users and updating system access related to user transfers and/or terminations;
  • Assisting with requests related to the auditing or testing of current procedures;
  • Processing mutual fund trade corrections;
  • Providing monthly reporting of firm transaction corrections and adjustments for distribution to senior management;
  • Researching complex problems and acting independently to resolve - Analyzing existing business processes and determining technical or procedural improvements and working with the team to implement changes -- Developing and/or maintaining operational procedures.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School diploma;
  • 5 or more years Financial Services Industry (Brokerage/Investment operations or processing experience preferred)

Preferred qualifications:

  • CI 101 Certified
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work independently
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
