About the Job

Responsible for outbound sales to warm leads for home equity lines of credit through various online sources. Manage a pipeline of consumer loan applications and understanding the documentation necessary to meet underwriting requirements. Primary focus is selling, taking a complete application and getting loans ready for processing. Must work diligently with other colleagues, 3rd party service providers and customers to achieve this objective.


• Monitor and follow up directly with borrowers on consumer applications completed.
• Highly customer focused position. Demonstrates a high sense of urgency in all activities to meet the needs of the customer. Works as the customer's champion in the lending process.
• Evaluates and assesses credit potential with prospective customers.
• Analyzes customer personal financial information to determine which products meet their needs and to provide recommendations regarding products to customers.
• Consult the customer to the advantages and disadvantages of home equity products.
• Keeps up to date on lending policies, regulations.
• Keeps up to date on pricing and product information.
• Manage pipeline of 50 to 100 active loan applications.
• Request and gather documents needed to satisfy underwriting requirements and keeps interested parties advised as to the status of the loan applications.
• Communicate final approval with borrower - Arrange and schedule closing and monitor disbursement(s).

Basic Qualifications:


• 1 - 3 years of sales experience
• High School Diploma required

Preferred Qualifications:


• Bachelor's Degree Preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and Visual Basic programming preferred.
• Proven ability to meet and exceed sales goals.
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, across a variety of audiences.
• Effective sales and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline of 50 to 100 home equity applications.
• Ability to close 35 to 45 home equity applications a month.
• Must be available to work from 9am to 6pm and up to 9pm a few nights each week.
• Successful candidate must meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to successful completion of the required background checks and obtaining a Unique Identifier from the NMLS.
