Job Description

This position is responsible for three primary duties as follows:

1) Execute buy and sell orders for Huntington Portfolio Managers.

2) Research investment-grade public-finance issuers and the broader municipal bond market through tactical and strategic investment recommendations.

3) Manage existing Tax-Exempt core strategy.

Will assist with researching, reviewing and analyzing the largest investment-grade public-finance issuers and the broad municipal bond market and economy. Track and analyze the fixed income markets and provide proactive and timely market strategies to Portfolio Managers and their clients. Ability to represent Municipal Securities as an investment solution in client meetings and on client conference calls.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree
• 5 or more years of experience in investments

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prefer experience in municipal trading, public finance investment banking, credit analytics, and/or municipal strategy).
• Micro credit analytics and public finance banking competence as well as broad market macro trading and economics.
• Trading desk experience (markets or credit) is highly advantageous.
• Macro analytics will include broader economy, equities, fixed income.
• Micro credit research will include financial metric and financial statement quantitative analysis, individual credit/trading analysis, writing, presentation skills.
• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Economics, and/or Accounting. MBA and/or CFA advantageous
