Job Description

The Business and Data Analyst is responsible for supporting multiple Investment Management systems and workflows. This position is in Columbus Ohio.

The following duties are normal for this position. These are not to be construed as exclusive or all-inclusive. Other duties may be required or assigned.

  • Develops strategic goals, objectives, operating procedures and work standards for the Investment Management Team
  • Creates and maintains technology policies and procedures regarding workflows of the Investment Managed systems.
  • Develops familiarity with current available Investment/Trust technology, including but not limited to trading, client reporting, performance/composites, equity and fixed income data/systems.
  • Consults with management on medium to large scale projects, develops implementation plans for acquisition and installation of new workflows and/or software systems. Assists management on evaluating options, projects costs,
  • Prioritizes and allocates available resources, evaluates program effectiveness as related to stated objectives and policy guidelines, confers with and advises Court staff regarding technology problems and priorities.
  • Manages a product that enables centralized trading, rebalancing and cash flow management for several thousand accounts.
  • Develops tasks and projects, establishes benchmarks and monitors progress, reviews works in progress on a regular basis to insure accurate handling, responsiveness and completion of all tasks.
  • Manages vendor relationships which includes annual performance review, back out plan management, costs and contract renewals.
  • Determines the need and leads appropriate training programs, manages the development of training schedules and course materials.
  • Attends a variety of meetings and committees, representing Investment Management Administration services.
  • Document, review, analyze and evaluate business processes, systems and user needs.
  • Performs other duties and assist with projects as assigned by the Director of Investment Administration/Operations.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5 or more years of experience in Business Analyst role
  • High School diploma with 9 years of experience/education in a related field may be considered.
