International Trade Specialist in Columbus at Huntington

Job Description


Working in a small team environment, will process International Trade transactions, including drafting, issuing, examining and paying Commercial and Standby Letters of Credit, as well as Documentary Collections, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Bank policies, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements, including communicating directly with customers, correspondent banks and HNB Relationship Managers. Duties may also include processing other International Trade transactions such as Foreign Trade Loans and Participations Purchased.

Basic Qualifications:

High School diploma

3+ years of banking experience

Preferred Qualifications:

College degree

Minimum of one (1) year of International Banking experience

Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel

Strong accounting skills

Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written)

Financial balancing and reconciling experience

Familiarity with AML/BSA and OFAC controls

Dependable team player with a professional positive attitude
