Job Description

As an Investment Central Support Specialist you will be a key member on the Central Support Team to deliver a great advisor and client experience. You will work in a team environment and will work closely with clients and internal/external partners to facilitate requests. In this dynamic environment, you may participate on special projects and working groups to drive process improvement. In addition, you will learn a broad view of investment operations.

Job Responsibilities and Tasks:

  • Support organizational structure changes for all delivery channels including territory and advisor book of business changes.
  • Perform advisor off-boarding tasks including account reassignment, client and product partner correspondence and additional tasks as needed
  • Facilitate account reassignment for beneficiary distributions including preparation of account documentation, client correspondence, and coordinate account distributions.
  • Liaison between the internal departments, external partners including National Financial Services and product partners
  • Assist clients and internal/external partners via phone and email to resolve customer inquiries
  • Develop an expertise on process and procedures to assist with escalated issues and problem resolution
  • Perform operational and support functions including coordinating client correspondence, ad-hoc reporting requests, and other miscellaneous operational tasks as required

Position Requirements

Basic Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • 1 - 3 years of customer service experience within Investments/Financial Services

Other Traits, Characteristics and Experience:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Series 6 and Life and Health license is preferred
  • Must have excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills as well as excellent organizational skills, and problem solving skills
  • Ability to create and foster strong partnerships with business partners, working independently as well as in a team environment
  • Familiarity with investment acumen, including investment products, Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint )
  • Demonstrated high degree of initiative and accountability
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment; adaptive to change
