Job Description

The IT Internal Auditor will assist in planning, execution and reporting of multiple audit engagements and interact with management during audit engagements. Audits will be performed in accordance with department and professional standards. The IT Internal Auditor will interact with various operational, compliance, financial and IT Auditors while performing their responsibilities.

• Understanding business processes in order to properly identify IT risks
• Planning and executing IT application control design and operating effectiveness and IT general controls testing
• Evaluating audit results to determine if issues exist and improvement recommendations are necessary.
• Performing of audit procedures and documenting audit results and utilizing verbal and written communication skills
• Monitoring audit engagement progress to meet deadlines and interact with management.
• Developing key management relationships for ongoing monitoring of their business areas.
• Travel approximately 15 % as required by audit engagement

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1 or more years of experience in technology and/or financial services audit or risk management. Other risk management, information technology or operations experience may also be considered to meet the years of experience requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree preference - Computer Information Systems, Accounting, Finance, or Economics.
• Professional certification (CISA, CIA, etc.) or progress toward certification
• Experience with financial services IT applications and controls testing
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Comfortable working in a team environment
• Ability to meet deadlines
• PC and Internet proficiency, to include Microsoft Word and Excel
• Access, ACL or Visio knowledge a plus
