Job Description

Corporate Finance is seeking a Financial Analyst to support the Information Technology segment. The qualified individual will provide analytical and reporting support to Finance for Information Technology Financial Management (ITFM) and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO). The range of responsibilities will include:

  • Support ITFM database reports & enhancements as requested by MPA team, IT leadership, & segment leadership. Manager QC stories, testing, & end user updates
  • Work with IT leadership to build & improve alignment of IT cost centers to IT services & support staff
  • Develop and maintain standard IT TCO costing model. Build partnership between Segment Finance, Segment LT, IT LT and IT Finance to collaborate on one truth of cost.
  • Develop and maintain IT show-back/charge-back for IT services. Partner with existing teams to enable the flow of chargebacks to existing corporate indirect allocations. Manage over/under recoveries for IT services and correct through TCO models
  • Educate and communicate IT TCO methodologies to Segments and Finance. Be the expert on technology costing and be able to communicate model complexities to various audiences and different levels of management
  • Leverage ITFM tool set to (1) enhance time tracking by application. (2) Develop financial reporting for IT hours for capacity, actuals and forecast. (3) Enhance maintenance contracts management. (4) Improve financial management for numerous IT contracts regarding expirations, true-ups, change in pricing. (5) Investigate IT contracts managed outside of the IT environment.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 or more years of financial analysis experience that includes technology financial management, and work with Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) or activity based costing.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preference - Finance, Accounting, and/or Business. Finance experience with supporting technology infrastructure.
  • MBA a plus. CMA or other financial certification a plus.
  • Working knowledge of GAAP treatment for IT labor, hardware & software purchasing and technology maintenance contracts.
  • ServiceNow ITFM, contracts or labor management experience.
  • Experience with Office applications, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Hyperion Essbase/Smart View experience strongly preferred.
  • Candidate must have ability to question status quo, be naturally inquisitive, comfortable with challenging others opinions in a constructive manner and be an active listener.
  • Collaborative personality -- able to manage different points of view and able to build positive relationships inside and outside of the team.
  • Demonstrated strong written and verbal communication skills as this position can interface with many levels of management.
  • Strong organizational skills given the large amount of information to be reviewed, maintained, and assimilated into the forecast and budget process.
  • Flexibility to adapt to tough timelines and ability to manage multiple complex issues/projects.
