Responsibilities include:

  • Working with the Technology Segment Risk Officer to establish strategies and define areas of IT Risk focus
  • Assist Technology with its assessment and understanding of IT risks and associated control environment
  • Communicate in business terms the IT risk profile to Executive Leadership
  • Coordinate with technology teams to ensure proper control strategy and control frameworks
  • Lead key IT Risk governance functions and forums and lead regular assessments of IT risks affecting Technology
  • Ownership of the design and execution of the Technology Risk Control Self-Assessment methodology for first line of defense
  • Identify and assess risk across key technology processes, including control design to mitigate risk within the corporate risk appetite and work closely with second and third line of defense to ensure transparency of technology risk profile
  • The ideal candidate possesses an expert level of knowledge of the general IT process (ie- the components that comprise Information and Technology, the methodologies used to support IT, and associated industry frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT) and an expert level of knowledge around control assessment, including industry best practices around control automation, residual risk evaluation and pragmatic control strategies for future risk reduction.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Risk Management
