Job Description

As the IT Risk Governance and Framework Manager, you will be responsible for assisting with the development of and monitoring the status of Huntington's IT Risk Management Program and associated risks, with a specific focus on enhancing and executing IT Risk governance processes in addition to the overarching IT Risk assessment Framework. Responsibilities include:

  • Ensuring appropriate program and governance processes/documentation are in place to support the company's IT Risk Management Program.
  • Executing key governance processes, including coordination of the IT Risk Committee and Leadership forums, production of relevant materials, and maintenance of agenda.
  • Leading the development of the IT Risk Framework, Bank-wide, and ensuring alignment and integration with the Enterprise Risk Framework and Risk and Control Self-Assessment processes.
  • Coordinating with the IT Risk Officer to determine the IT Risk Program's strategies and areas of focus.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • At least 7 years in a technology role, directly supporting technology processes or assets (applications/systems/etc.)
  • At least 5 years in an IT Risk role (within any IT risk domain), which included measuring and balancing risk, defining effective controls, and assessing/communicating residual risk to senior business stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with industry frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, and similar.
  • Previous experience with the development and/or execution of governance of IT Risk within a large firm
  • Experience in developing/deploying an IT risk and control assessment framework, including supporting GRC solutions.
  • Strong preference for a recognized industry certification such as ISACA CRISC/CISA/CISM, ISC2 CISSP/SSCP, or similar. Where these certifications are not possessed at the time of hire, the candidate will be expected to obtain certification within a 12-month period.
