MIS Reporting Lead - Internal Audit in Columbus at Huntington

Job Description

This position will work with the Internal Audit Professional Practices Team to manage systems, reporting, processes, and policies to ensure effective and efficient delivery of the Internal Audit Program.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining, enhancing and reporting various Internal Audit data that is used for presentations to Executive Leadership, Audit Committee, and to meet regulatory requirements.
  • Tracking performance against already established Internal Audit Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that measure audit efficiencies, quality and productivity.
  • Assessing and enhancing KPIs as needed based on business needs and changes to auditing and regulatory requirements.
  • Creating a method for, implementing, and continued responsibility for tracking and reporting on audit project workflow related to policy exceptions.
  • Maintaining and updating Internal Audit's Policy document and procedure manual.
  • Driving changes to Huntington's Enterprise Risk Management System as Audit's business needs change, making routine changes and providing testing/validation of system changes to ensure effectiveness.
  • Determining and implementing ways to increase consistency, effectiveness and efficiency of the audit process and system input.
  • Training colleagues on system and process changes.
  • Developing ad hoc reporting for Audit Management.
  • Maintaining and testing the Internal Audit Business Continuity Plan.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree.
  • 5+ years of experience that includes building systems functionality, retrieval and reporting of information, application testing, execution of change controls and writing procedures and/or user guides. The 5 years must also include audit experience and use of Excel and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • In-depth understanding of audit methodologies.
  • Experience with Risk Management systems, preferably RSA Archer eGRC platform.
  • Strong verbal, written, organizational, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Strong project management skills; must be able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial services.
