Job Description:

The Network Security Domain Director will be responsible and accountable for business operations of enterprise-wide network security environment. This role requires experience with network products including but not limited to firewalls, intrusion prevention, remote access, internet security, denial of service, malware sandboxing, SSL visibility, DNS protections, endpoint detection & response, and network access control in traditional data center, cloud (Azure, AWS), and Software Defined Data Center (SDDC) and SD-WAN deployments.

This position has a lot of growth potential and will provide ample opportunities to grow into other security management and leadership roles within Huntington.

Responsibilities:

  • General support of the network security infrastructure, including intrusion prevention, malware sandboxing, SSL visibility, endpoint detection & response, and more.
  • Installation, upgrades, testing, and documentation for network security environments.
  • Defining business requirements for network security segmentation, including intrusion prevention, malware sandboxing, SSL visibility, firewall policy management, endpoint detection & response capabilities.
  • Recommend threat management solutions for network security environments, based on research of emerging products, services, protocols and standards.
  • Provide requirements regarding capabilities of systems, applications, and processes to help secure access, data, and assets.
  • Ensuring effectiveness of security controls through on-going reporting and testing of compliance and effectiveness mitigating threats.
  • Assist in responses to internal and external compliance audits, penetration tests and vulnerability assessments.
  • Work with vendors and service providers to evaluate potential security offerings, including product evaluations, pilots and proof of concept installations.
  • Ability to work well with other technology areas to deploy security technologies.
  • Ability to coordinate and articulate business security requirements to separate engineering and operations teams.
  • Ability to deliver quality work and customer service in a high-pressure, fast paced environment and meet company deadlines.
  • Team management will require strong leadership, collaboration, communication, and organizational skills.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 10+ years of experience in Information & Network Security
