Job Description

We are transforming the way we do business by changing how we think about the different types of Customer Journeys. Omnichannel will provide a consistent experience for our customers, regardless of how they chose to do business with us (online banking, branch locations, ATM's, phone support). The goal of Omnichannel is to align our people, processes, products & services, and technology across our enterprise to deliver new modern capabilities in an Agile and Iterative way.

We are in the beginning stages of building this newly defined Omnichannel program with cross functional team members. This team will lay the foundation for what the Customer Journeys are and how we will deliver exceptional, streamlined experiences for each one. If you are a pioneer at heart who enjoys data driven decisions that takes our customers' feedback and intertwines creativity to define what the solutions should be, we want to hear more.

Working closely with the Omnichannel, Sales Strategy & Branch Operations teams, this individual will be responsible for providing business & systems expertise on a variety of Omni 'POD' project teams. They will help define project objectives, business requirements & desired outcomes. They will ensure project milestones are defined & achieved. They will represent the front line colleagues as they sit in strategic & technical meetings; ensuring customer & colleague impacts are a driver of key decisions. This leader will be responsible for providing high level updates to Retail leadership around project progress & defining/ executing 'go to market' plans once projects are ready to be implemented.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Manages day to day Omni 'POD' responsibilities (meeting engagement, research completion, project deliverables, etc)
  • Responsible for defining business & technical requirements of project features to ensure alignment with Retail & Omni objectives. Engages system SMEs throughout project
  • Delivers 'go to market' plans that tie to project implementation (communication, training, scripting, tools, etc)
  • Keeps a pulse on colleague & customer responses to the program by running regular focus groups & feedback sessions
  • Works directly with Omni Directors, Sales Strategy Director, Branch Operations Director & Retail/ Digital leadership to ensure program elevates the customer experience
  • Analyzes key metrics to determine gaps & best practices- builds plans to improve results
  • Ensures connectivity & consistency with systems enhancements as it relates to our overall sales process, The Customer Relationship Experience
  • Ensures risk, compliance & operational soundness with any project implemented
  • Partner with key stakeholders from product, pricing, marketing, sales, branches, operations, technology, payments, investments, digital, and risk in order to ensure mutual goals are achieved

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of 5 years operations experience
  • Minimum of 2 years Retail management experience
  • Minimum of 5 years branch banking experience
  • Minimum of 2 years project management experience
  • Minimum of 2 years digital, IT collaboration experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Strong organization & time management skills
  • Ability to observe skills, analyze opportunities & create improvement plans with colleagues
  • Strong understanding of branch sales processes with track record of success
  • Strong understanding of branch operation process with track record of success
  • Leadership & quality presentation skills
  • Ability to manage both the big picture & details of major projects
  • Strong analytical, technical & project management skills
  • Branch system knowledge of ESS, Max, and TPS
  • Experience with 'agile' IT project delivery (implement features quickly vs. traditional more lengthy/ comprehensive IT project timelines)
