Performance Development Design Manager

In this position, the selected individual will manage a team of instructional designers and developers who support both enterprise and segment projects. This includes completion of deliverables and outputs. You will work with colleagues to set clear expectations, create win/win agreements, monitor progress and escalate issues. Other responsibilities include coaching on: the Instructional Design process, Huntington project management process, internal consulting methodology and quality assurance. This position will also provide ongoing support and timely performance feedback to their direct reports to fit their specific needs and will be responsible for appropriately addressing performance issues in a timely manner.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • A minimum of 4 years of management experience required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience managing projects and project teams required.

  • Effective relationship management and interpersonal skills
  • Conflict resolution skills
  • Delegation skills
  • Coaching Skills
  • Colleague development skills
  • Experience with development tools like Lectora, Captivate, Adove Creative Suite or Articulate preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services industry preferred.
  • 7 years of progressive experience in a learning and development position preferred.
