Brief Posting Description:

Private Banking Business Analyst II, Full Time. Entry-level clerical operations position within a consolidated team which provides wire transfer and other services for Private Banking customers

Detailed Description:

• Works with Private Banking customers and colleagues to ensure adherence to operational processes, guidelines, and corporate standards for initiating wire transfers with a focus to mitigate risk and to support a low -- moderate risk culture.
• Communicates by telephone and email with customers, providing a high level of service.
• Reviews balances of accounts and past deposits to validate source of funds.
• Ensures funds are collected prior to releasing a wire.
• Reviews additional details of wires for approval including:

• Verification of Customer
• Account Opening Date
• Wire Transfer History
• Destination of Wire
• Wire transfer form
• Works with Private Banking Management on questionable or denied requests to escalate as appropriate.

Basic Qualifications

• High School Diploma with 5+ years of equivalent work experience or college degree with 2+ years of equivalent work experience in retail banking, banking operations or accounting, or related financial services field.

• Excellent customer-service skills.
• Experience working independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience managing multiple priorities and re-prioritize as appropriate.
• Experience and ability to quickly analyze and react to customer service issues.
• Demonstrated ability to convey ideas verbally and/or in writing with a clear, concise, organized and articulate style using a format appropriate for target audience.
• Demonstrated ability to problem solve, providing creative options within policy guidelines.
• Must be detail oriented.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Candidate must have knowledge of Excel and other Microsoft Office Suite software.
