Job Description

This individual will serve as the Project Manager in the Commercial Banking Business PMO for a broad range of tactical and strategic projects, from small to more complex, highly visible or cross-functional initiatives. Ability to demonstrate personal excellence in balancing multiple programs/projects and adjust quickly to changing priorities is key.

Project Manager:

  • Leads business teams through process reengineering by prioritizing improvement initiatives and implement efficiencies to meet business segment goals.
  • Utilizes the project management methodology to execute approved initiatives, which include new product development, new or enhanced technology, risk mitigation or operational efficiencies.
  • Provides recommendations and serves as advocate on tools, templates and processes for project management optimization.
  • Serves as consultant with business partners as needed.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience project management and process engineering experience
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience (minimum of 7 years)

Preferred Requirements:

  • Ability to manage multiple high visibility projects simultaneously
  • Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills required
  • Ability to utilize MS Office Suite, Visio and MS Project required
  • Must have excellent written and verbal (face-to-face and phone) communication skills including professional grammar and demeanor
  • Minimum of 3 years of banking experience primarily in Commercial, Treasury Management, and/or Capital Markets preferred
  • Knowledge of Six Sigma and Project Management Professional (PMP) methodologies to process improvement initiatives preferred
