Job Description

Brief Description:
The QA Testing Analyst Senior for the IT Commercial Technology QA group will need to act as project test lead and/or tester responsible for multiple, concurrent testing efforts as needed.
This role requires experience in System Integration Testing (SIT), DR and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) where incumbent will be planning and coordinating the testing for a project as well as creating and executing test plans for impacted systems in the Commercial and Operations areas. Coordination with project resources is critical (test analysts, project managers and business SME's will be key).

Detailed Description:
* Create Test Strategy/Plan Document working closely with Development team, SME's and Business to ensure full coverage of acceptance criteria to be met during testing
* Create test cases and test scripts
* Working closely with SME's and Business to ensure requirements are clearly defined and testable, test data is available, and test results and defects are managed and documented in Quality Center
* Create and deliver testing estimates, testing metrics (defect metrics) and execution plans
* Create daily/weekly test metrics and status reporting
* Assist to drive project team to defect resolution
* Partnering with Technical team in the planning, and building of the test environments
* Leverage existing tools/techniques to streamline and automate wherever possible
* Actively participate in walk-through, review and user group meetings for quality assurance
* Comply with team and enterprise standards of the software development life cycle within Information Technology
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Coaching, mentoring and leading team members
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Basic Qualifications:
* Min 3 years of Quality Assurance testing experience
* Bachelor's degree

Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of test data requirements, planning and conditioning test data for complex test scenarios
* Test tool experience -- Test Management (Quality Center/ALM), Automation, Defect Tracking, etc.
* Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
* Previous experience analyzing issues and analyzing results
