Job Description

Sales and Service Specialist (Velocify Focus) - this position can be based anywhere in Huntington's footprint

  • Coordinates with marketing representatives to support sales campaigns, with customer lists, market data, marketing materials and campaign information.
  • Coordinates components of new sales onboarding including websites, photos, orientation, etc.
  • Generates and analyzes daily/weekly/monthly sales reports; summarizes sales performance against goals for sales managers.
  • Acts as liaison with sales staff to determine support needs, communicate effective sales practices, create sales campaign guides, and communicate sales initiatives.
  • Analyzes and suggests changes to current sales process.
  • Administers sales systems including Velocify, Loyalty Express to insure effective usage by sales teams.
  • Leads or participates as a SME in sales related projects.
  • Develops and provides training on effective sales techniques, sales system functionality and relevant product information to drive cross selling activities, etc.
  • (MAX) SME working on projects and enhancements for Consumer Banking efforts.
  • Leads sales calls and web ex sessions for new and existing sales staff.

Detailed description:

  • Manage lead distribution strategy for supported channels.
  • This position will both maintain and champion the sales campaigns to the sales team to drive the volume of Home Lending/Business Banking opportunities for Home Lending/Business Banking sales channels.
  • Manage key projects for the supported sales channels intended to drive new business, improve current capabilities, ensure compliance, etc.
  • This will be a role where the individual will take leadership in identifying needs, managing smaller projects (or being a SME in a larger project), test, train and implement for sales teams.
  • Maintain content, track activities, help facilitate best practices.
  • Partner with channel management to identify and execute on areas of opportunity to drive volume to the supported channel.
  • Other activities as assigned.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, 4 additional years of experience in the Home Lending or Business Banking industry is required.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the Home lending or Business Banking industry.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience with Max ( or Velocify Lead Management.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with marketing content development preferred
  • Competent with technology
  • Sales background a plus
  • Self-starter
  • Ability to work independently and drive results
  • Confident presenting to all levels of the organization and running meetings/training sessions
