Job Description:

  • Play a key role in building, maintaining the company's integrated market risk management framework & process for the capital market activities including the Foreign Exchange, Interest Rate and Commodity Derivatives, and Fixed Income.
  • Conduct independent review & effective challenging of market risk trends & changes, risk limit exception and emerging risk monitoring, escalation, and risk management communications with working knowledge of risk & trading systems, trading products, and capital market conditions
  • Collaborate extensively with Market Risk Analytical team in 1) the daily measuring of various risk metrics, risk factor analysis, reconciliation, risk position communication, and various levels reporting; and 2) the analyzing and explaining changes of the risk results due to position/risk factors changes.
  • Teaming with internal partners, conduct the on-going improvement of market risk limit setting framework in the context of new business development, and changes of various regulatory rules and guidelines in capital market risk management.
  • Partner closely with capital market business, operations, and other risk functions to address data accuracy and reconciliation

Basic Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or other quantitative fields
  • 7 + years of experience in market risk management related to capital market

Preferred Additional Qualifications:

  • MS in Finance, Economics, CFA are strongly preferred
  • Proven direct operational experience in capital market trading & risk systems
  • Deep knowledge of and experience in various capital market instruments, pricing and valuation, VaR, SVaR, and regulatory guidelines & risk management requirements
  • Enjoy hands-on and detail-oriented work in a highly collaborative environment, and have strong organizational skills combined with independent problem solving abilities
  • Ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders including regulators, and to build cross-functional relationships
