Job Description

The Financial Systems Analyst Sr. position is a fast paced, deadline driven position that will be involved with both Customer Relationship Pricing & Profitability activities and GL reconciliation efforts. Job duties will include management and validation of content for weekly and monthly customer profitability processing and monthly GL reconciliation. Primary responsibilities include:

  • Monitoring system data quality and producing reconciliation reports for data used in the tools. Escalating data quality issues found and following through with remediation efforts until problems are resolved.
  • Acting as a liaison between the Financial Information Team, Finance & IT system development groups and ensuring that the outputs from various systems are aligned.
  • Monthly reconciliation of the Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications (OFSAA) database to the general ledger.
  • Validating data for customers acquired as a result of mergers and acquisitions.
  • Participating in the development of strong departmental documentation processes and controls.
  • Supporting ad hoc query requests.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5 or more years of experience in a technical finance role that involves research and analysis and the use of Sql and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree preference: Accounting/Finance/Technology.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, detail oriented
  • Possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to prioritize and simultaneously handle deadlines, ad hoc requests, and regular deliverables
  • Experience with SSIS stored procedures and packages.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues.
  • Analysis experience with a financial institution with profitability management experience.
  • OFSAA user.
  • Familiarity with funds transfer pricing and bank regulatory capital processes.
  • Experience working as a collaborator with partners and peers in Information Technology, Banking Operations, Accounting, and Finance.
