Job Description

Directs end to end strategic projects both large and small. May act as a team leader and have responsibility for management of colleagues. Directs the development of continuous improvement initiatives for multiple projects, consults with, and influences internal contacts at all levels across the company, creating value and buy-in as the lead business continuous improvement transformation partner. Leads continuous improvement initiatives through the use of measurements, analysis and discussion of process alternatives to arrive at best practices. Advises business groups by providing strategic direction to initiative prioritization, integration and resource application. Directs the build and translates business priorities into implementable actions to achieve strategic goals. Ensures the budgeting, planning, and net results meet business objectives. Identifies, develops, assesses, and drives high level business issues and consults with all levels of management to negotiate and develop solutions which meet planning schedules, quality objectives, and, policies and procedures of the organization. Responsible for decisions that have significant long-term impact on the business while maintaining strict confidentiality of sensitive information. ​

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree (in Engineering, Operations Management of Business preferred) or equivalent of having at least 8 years of experience in an analytics or process improvement role. 
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an analytics or process improvement role required.
  • Certification in Lean, Six Sigma (black belt) or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Possess strong business process knowledge and the ability to translate performance gaps and improvements to bottom line P&L
  • Ability to facilitate knowledge transfer of Continuous Improvement methodologies via training, coaching sessions, and the sharing of lessons learned and best practices
  • Proven experience of leading and/or supporting large business / process improvement initiatives; and ability to influence across all areas and at all levels of the organization
  • Advanced negotiation, interpersonal communication and change management skills.
  • Advanced data analytics
  • Minitab experience preferred
